Peekaboo Pals Turtle Crochet Pattern digital download pdf
YOU ARE BUYING A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF A CROCHET PATTERN. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT!
This adorable, transforming crocheted toy goes from a happy & confident turtle with legs and tail in view to an unhappy turtle with his legs and tail hidden in his shell. Super fun to make and even more fun to tuck in and out of his shell! Over 25 color pictures included in the pattern to help walk you through the process. Requires knowledge of basic crochet stitches as well as joining amigurumi parts. Some amigurumi experience is recommended.
When using Bernat Blanket: The finished Turtle is approx. 8 inches in length (nose to tail) and 8 inches in width from tip of leg to tip of leg when legs are displayed and is approx. 5 inches wide when legs are hidden.
This pattern is written in English using US crochet terms and is intended for use with blanket yarn. I used Bernat Blanket, but it works well with Premiere Basix, Parfait Chunky, Sweet Snuggles, Yarn Bee Cozy Occasion, or any other super bulky or bulky weight yarn. You can use worsted weight acrylic as well for a smaller end result.
Materials needed:
Blanket yarn in main color
Blanket yarn in alternate color
6.5mm crochet hook
12mm felt eyes or safety eyes
Polyfil stuffing (or stuffing material of choice)
Craft glue (if using felt eyes)
Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers
.
